Cyclepedia has arrived !!!
I ordered a copy of Michael Embacher’s Cyclepedia last week and it has arrived.

Lots of very nice looking bicycles … which one should I covet the most?
This is as far as the project has gotten (the photos are from all the way back in August). That pesky PE exam commands a lot of review time …
I wanted to get a Christiana Tricycle , but they were not available in Chicago (a local distributor started selling them right about the time I started building the tricycle) so I decided to build my own cargo tricycle.
My objectives were to create a trike capable of:
1). Carrying the dog to work — a load of 55 kg
2). Taxiing the wife around town — a load of 45 kg
3). Carrying the dog and the wife to work (she works down the block) — a load of 100 kg
4). Have sufficient wall height to help the dog feel safe in motion if he decides to sit (he has a travel harness and tether to keep him from jumping or flying out)
5). Keep the costs under the $3k price point for a Christiana from my local distributor
